Historical novel.
In the 3rd century, in a Pyrenean village, the young Shuban is initiated into the secrets of the ancient gods, and sent to the Piedmont to perfect his initiation. But during a raid of barbarians, the statue of the goddess protecting her community is stolen ... Shuban then launches in pursuit of the barbarians as far as the Rhine. The quest will be long, difficult, full of surprises ... Yet, when the young man returns home, everything has changed in the village; His community embraced a new religion.
