Following the success of his first book dedicated to orchids Hautes-Alpes (now unavailable), Olivier trunnion offers us a new book devoted entirely to orchids department. Having reported on the discoveries made since the previous book, he invites us to enter into the fascinating and strange world of orchid hybrids and we present forty, likely to be encountered on the territory of the French Alps.

Finally, it guides us on the ground in 24 completely new browsing routes, leading us across the department, sometimes just by the roadside, other times a little further. The choice of these walks is not trivial. Besides their orchidologique and botanical interest, it invites us to discover or rediscover some gems Heritage High Alpine, known or unknown, including the castle ruins of Arzeliers or the petrifying fountain Réotier. Indeed, these walks were chosen to give a broader interest in the output, to those perhaps less orchid lovers. Through the discovery of routes you can observe 52 species of orchids and 20 different hybrids.
