Troba una mena de libre de rason sieu onte conta son engatjament republican e socialista a Marselha sota lo Segond Empèri ; la Comuna de Marselha ; la fugida en Argeria ; ailà la lucha contra lei monarquistas e la situacion coloniala.
Lo jovent se retroba acarat a son origina occitana e obriera, au mitan sociau borgés qu'es lo sieu, e tanben a sa mestressa que lucha per una societat nòva.

L'auteur:
Claude Barsotti est né à Marseille en 1934. Il fut officier radio-technicien dans la marine, pour entrer ensuite dans l’administration, avant de se consacrer au journalisme, à la radio et à la télévision.
