After Gacha Empega and its Provençal polyphonies, Dupain and its Occitan electro rock, Forabandit the Occitan-Turkish-Marseille acoustic trio, Sam Karpienia invents with Manu Reymond and Thomas Lippens a new Provençal epic, De la Crau. De la Crau has been working for 4 years on a repertoire anchored in the reality of a Provençal geography located between Marseille, the perimeter of the Etang de Berre and the industrialized plain of La Crau, rocky land with a rough and stocky charm.

De la Crau defolklorizes Provençal to give it its place in the Sono Mondiale current, a musical current made up of hybridizations between local and global. This journey initiated by Sam Karpienia twenty years ago is expressed today with this new album Temperi.
