The author:
Passionate about tales from all horizons and an Occitan teacher, Martine Prévôt loves to find echoes in these tales of the hardships endured by the humble folk of Occitanie and beyond.

The illustrator:
Edouard Monneau was born in 1991 in Bachas, in the Cominges region of France. His first passion was gymnastics, then, at 19, sitting on the benches of the Miralh University in Toulouse, he rediscovered the joy of drawing. In 2017, he graduated from the Grau professional d'ilustracio a l'Escola pública d'art i disseny Massana de Barcelona. He now lives with his grandparents on the Catalan coast.
