L'author:

Born in 1954, Tresia Pambrun lives in Lavedan, a mountain valley in the Hautes-Pyrénées (65).
After teaching in elementary school for twenty years, she became a teacher's adviser on Occitan language and culture.
Lulled as a child by her father's fairy tales, she is just as interested in Pyrenean legends as she is in fairy tales and myths. She also writes and illustrates children's stories in Occitan.
Editions Letras d'òc have published her study of the imaginary world of stones and rocks in the Pyrenees, Memòrias de peira, and a series of children's stories illustrated with original watercolors, Los Òmis Petits and La quista deus Òmis Petits.
