The author:
Daniel Chavaroche was born in Sarlat in Périgord Noir (France). First village teacher, became itinerant master of Occitan, he began to write by feeding on his country and became a storyteller. Author of song texts for groups Peiraguda and Pissafreg, he also writes many songs and nursery rhymes for children who learn Occitan.
He has published a book-cd of stories in Occitan for children "Tales of laughter" as well as 2 CDs "Parlotes and stories" and "Nhòrlas". Creator of "The storytelling", a bunch of country tales, he also set up a storytelling show with two voices: "We did not come here to take it!" that he interprets with his friend Jean Bonnefon.
