The first volume of the novel "Fino e Cesar" retraces the life of a young shepherdess in the hills of Allauch at the bottom of the Garlaban massif between 1890 and 1919. The action takes place in the hamlet of Pichàuris lost in the communal forests, which looks out from its high plateaus over the entire Gulf of Marseille.

This story highlights the pastoral life in this maritime Provence, between sea and hills, of which a part takes place in the Queyras of our Southern Alps on the commune of Saint-Véran, at the time when the herds in transhumance left on foot by thousand-year-old ways, "lei draio"...

This first volume ends just after the war of 1914 ... However the world has changed ...

This novel " Fino e Cesar " written in three volumes, is entirely written in the language of Oc of Provence, this exquisite Provençal Occitan language which remains a regional reality but which often, alas, by lack of information is associated with a past linguistic myth.
