La lenga dels trobadors - Robert Rourret
This book would like a kind of initiation into what was the first poetic language of medieval Europe. After having done everything so that this is not known, it may be time for the self-proclaimed country of "enlightenment and human rights", so quick to ignite for the distant struggles, Inhabitants of the southern countries, some of whom still believe they speak patois. In one of his later works, Robert Lafont, who had done so much for the knowledge of the troubadours, speaks of the "crime of France against the spirit" and even of "cultural genocide". These words are not excessive. What the French school practiced, especially in the times of the "hussars" of the Republic (the sign of infamy for children who did not speak French) is not pardonable.
In 1981, the author published the first dictionary in classical spelling, devoted to modern Provencal speech. This graphic is inspired directly by that of the troubadours.
