Malaterra - Movie of Philippe Carrese (DVD).
During the war of 14-18, in Haute Provence, a family which lives in autarky, and whose universe is essentially composed of women since the men went to the war front, maintains strange rumors of malediction around Malaterra, abandoned village supposedly haunted.
The arrival of a deaf and dumb vagabond will exacerbate individual conflicts, upset daily life in this isolated farm and reveal the mystery of Malaterra, the cursed village.
