Young singer Aliço releases her first album of songs in Provençal: "De la Terro à l'Estello". Dedicated to Provence and the Provençal language, this CD "From the earth to the star" promotes Provençal roots and the beauty of the land.

In the course of his courses and encounters, the idea of an album of songs in Provençal was born, based on texts by Annie Bergèse and Jean-Bernard Plantevin, a famous Provençal singer. He even wrote a song for her, in a nod to Lewis Caroll's "Alice au pays de Mireille".
Songs about friendship, poetry, roots, the beauty of Provence and the love of the Provençal language. It's an adventure of which Alice is proud, and which she's happy to share with others.

The singer:
Originally from Marseilles, Alice Marignane, whose stage name is Aliço, began cultivating her links with Provençal at university, where she chose the option as part of her curriculum. An apprenticeship that gave her the opportunity to speak Provençal with her grandfather.
Today, as an art therapist, she hasn't given up on Provençal for all that, and continues to teach it to her students.
