Lo XIII, aquò òc ! - Alan ROCH

The Occitan, like Catalan, English, French, the languages of Oceania, such as Papua, is a natural language of "13-a-side rugby".

This book is a great demonstration of this, mixing sports columns, songs, poems, memories, humor, plastic arts..., to celebrate all the actors of an oval and fraternal world.

Alan Roch coordinated and wrote the book, which includes several of his columns published from 2012 to 2017 (Lo Jornalet, Ràdio-Lenga d'Òc, XIII-Magazine, La Semaine du Minervois)
Joan-Francés Albèrt signs the preface; Cristian Almerge and Albert Bueno sing the XIII; Jo Salès remembers a Minervois team at the beginning of the 50's, and the musician Felip Carcassés remembers the legendary Papillon; the Occitan advisors of the Academy of Montpellier report on a pedagogical project.
The book includes a short story by Sèrgi Viaule (Cossí lo XIII salvèt la planeta); Ramon Gogaud's short story (Lo rugbí), and the out-of-print novel L'Afirolada, which he wrote with Alfrèd Raucoules.

Color illustrations complete this 208-page book in Occitan (except for the Catalan song by Albert Bueno).

On the cover: Lucas Albert, former Calandreta student, Dragon and fly-half of the XIII de France; AS Carcassonne jersey with the inscriptions Tèrra, Auzor e Paratge.
