La murèna atendrà - La murène attendra - Danièle Estèbe-Hoursiangou

(The moray eel will wait)

In this novel, Danièle Estèbe-Hoursiangou plunges us into an existential drama: the inexorable psychological distancing of the one who was and remains her only love, suffering from Alzeimer's disease. The feelings are mixed, sometimes contradictory or violent, without concession, without pathos. Reality, dream, fiction, all intertwine in a personal and secret conversation that takes us to the very heart of human complexity. A strong story of love and modesty.

The story follows a couple separated by Alzheimer's disease. Reality, dream, fiction, all intertwine in a personal and secret conversation but without pathos or medicine.

Bilingual novel French-Occitan from Languedoc (translation in languedocien by Eric Fraj).

Collection Terra Incognita 14, editions Reclams.

Estrach:
