The author:
Mans de Breish, along with Claude Marti, Joan-pau Verdier and Patric, is one of the most important singers of the 1970s revival of Occitan song. He learned to play guitar with the gypsies of Carcassonne, who gave him his nickname Mans de Breish ("sorcerer's hands" in Occitan).
